Three of our oceanography researchers have appeared in a photographic exhibition focusing on scientists, dubbed Wild Researchers, by award-winning photographer Tamara Dean.
The series is a unique collaboration with UNSW, which aims to shatter the stereotype of the scientist in a white lab coat, and instead display the wide array of backdrops and settings that scientists work in.
The photo, "Marine Mathematicians", features Nina Ribbat (current PhD student), Amandine Shaeffer (a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School) and Paulina Cetina-Heredia (a former Maths Postdoc, now working at UNSW's Climate Change Research Centre).
